Guide for Providers: Creating Your Community

TokenTrip empowers you to build and engage with your most loyal customers. By creating a token-gated channel, you can offer a premium, exclusive space for the holders of your ExperienceNFTs.

How to Create Your Token-Gated Channel​

The process is designed to be simple and leverages the power of Guild.xyz, a trusted third-party service for token-gating.

  1. Navigate to Your Dashboard:

    • Go to your Provider Dashboard on the TokenTrip platform.
    • Select the "Community" tab.

  2. Use the "Token-Gating Toolkit":

    • Here you will find a toolkit for each ExperienceNFT collection you have created.
    • The toolkit provides the exact on-chain requirements needed by Guild.xyz to verify ownership of your specific NFT.
    • Simply find the NFT collection you want to create a community for and click "Copy Requirement".

  3. Set up Your Role on Guild.xyz:

    • Follow the link provided in the toolkit to the official TokenTrip Guild on Guild.xyz.
    • Click "Add role" and give it a name (e.g., "Genesis Concert VIPs").
    • In the "Requirements" section, select "Sui" as the blockchain, "NFT" as the type, and paste the requirement you copied from your dashboard.

  4. Request Your Private Channel:

    • Once your role is saved on Guild.xyz, return to your TokenTrip dashboard.
    • Click the "Request Private Channel" button. This will notify our community moderators.
    • Our team will then create a private channel in our Discord server, configure it so only users with your new role can access it, and grant you moderation permissions for that channel.

That's it! You now have a direct line to your collectors, where you can share exclusive content, announce future drops, and build a lasting community.
