Fair Compensation with On-Chain Royalties

One of the most powerful features of TokenTrip for creators is our built-in, automated royalty system.

How It Works​

When you create an experience, you are registered as the original creator of that ExperienceNFT. Our marketplace smart contract is designed to recognize this.

If a traveler buys an experience from you and later decides to resell it to another user on our marketplace, the smart contract will automatically execute the following:

  1. The new buyer pays the resale price.
  2. A small platform fee is collected for the TokenTrip DAO.
  3. A royalty fee (e.g., 2.5%) of the sale price is automatically sent directly to you, the original creator.
  4. The remainder of the funds is sent to the user who resold the ticket.

This entire process is transparent, unstoppable, and guaranteed by the code. It ensures that you continue to earn from the value you created, long after the primary sale.
