How to Create a Proposal

Any community member with sufficient TKT can create a proposal to influence the future of TokenTrip.

Proposal Requirement​

To prevent spam and ensure proposals are submitted by committed members, there is a minimum requirement to create a proposal:

  • You must hold at least 10,000 TKT in your wallet.

These tokens are only used to verify your eligibility and are not spent or locked when creating a proposal.

Proposal Types​

Our DAO supports several types of on-chain actions:

  1. Transfer TKT: Propose a transfer of TKT funds from the DAO Treasury. This is used for funding marketing campaigns, developer grants, paying contractors, or other initiatives.
  2. Signal: A proposal with no direct on-chain action. This is used to signal community consensus on off-chain matters, such as approving a legal agreement, a strategic partnership, or a general statement of intent.
  3. Update DAO Parameter: Propose a change to the DAO's own rules. This is how the DAO governs itself. You can propose changes to:
    • Minimum TKT to propose
    • Voting period duration
    • Quorum percentage
    • Approval threshold
