Rentals: Guide for Owners

The Rental Marketplace is a powerful tool to earn yield on your ExperienceNFTs and Fractions.

1. Listing an Asset for Rent​

From your Dashboard, in the "My Collection" or "My Inventory" tab, every asset you own has an "Actions" menu.

  1. Click the menu and select "List for Rent".
  2. A modal will appear where you must define the rental terms:
    • Currency: SUI or TKT.
    • Price: The total price for the entire rental period.
    • Start & End Date: The duration for which the asset will be usable by the renter.
  3. Upon submitting the transaction, your asset is transferred to the secure RentalListing escrow contract.

2. Managing Your Rental Listings​

In your Dashboard, under the "My Rentals" tab, you will find a section for "Items I've Listed for Rent". Here you can:

  • Delist: If your item has not yet been rented by anyone, you can cancel the listing to immediately reclaim your asset.
  • Reclaim: Once the rental period (end_timestamp_ms) has passed, a "Reclaim" button will appear. Clicking this will return your original Fraction or ExperienceNFT from the escrow back to your wallet.
